Ibumi Bali History

In accordance with Indonesian Foundation Law No. 16 of 2001, Ibu Bumi Nusantara Foundation was established by Midwife Ni Wayan Sulandri in September 2014. Based in Sayan Village, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency, Bali, the foundation has been actively serving the community since 2014. IBUMI Bali is guided by Midwife Ni Wayan Sulandri, together with its management team and supervisory board.

Most of the foundation’s management team consists of dedicated social volunteers who serve in rotating five-year terms. With support from the government and local community, they have helped develop Ibu Bumi Nusantara Foundation into a non-governmental social organization providing holistic, integrated, and sustainable care.

IBUMI Bali supports a general clinic and maternity home that provide accessible healthcare services and normal childbirth care for people from all backgrounds.

Our programs are designed to support mothers, newborns, and children across the community, including:

  • Maternal and child health education
  • Weekly volunteer-led maternity yoga classes
  • Free normal childbirth services for underprivileged families
  • Ongoing health consultations, information services, education, training, assistance, and mediation
  • Emergency response for natural disasters
